State health officials say North Dakota now has 53 confirmed cases of swine flu, in 13 counties.
The North Dakota Health Department says two of the victims have been hospitalized.
The number of cases includes 21 males and 32 females. Health officials say 25 of the cases are between the ages of 10 and 19.
Seventeen of the confirmed cases are in Cass County, 11 in Ward County, seven in Burleigh County and six in Grand Forks County.
Nationwide, health officials say swine flu has infected as many as 1 million Americans.
